We made it to Billings. Today was glorious .We had a tailwind a slight downhill and only 91 miles to get here. We have had some very hot weather . Yesterday it was 105 by the time we arrived in Harlowton,Mt. Mike said his thermometer read 112 with the sun beating down on the asphalt. We were able to sleep in the youth center where the snoring abounded . WE are not naming names. We are now on a day of rest tomorrow. I plan to write what the last 4 days have been. We have seen antelopes and deer and beautiful scenery. We are still speaking to each other so this is good. I can see why people like it here . Tonight we saw from our dorm room the most amazing lightening show and enormous rain shower. We were all counting our blessings that we were not camping out in the middle of a football field like we have been. This is the first rain we have seen. We know there is more to come. Tomorrow we will write more about the last few days.

It is SO GOOD to hear from you and know that you are safe, healthy and awed by the sights along your way! Our mountain is out and shining today. These are the days we live for! Would love to see a picture of Greg's new look. He must look like the college athletes - maybe Stanford sand volleyball players? Will you be able to follow the Tour de France?
Best wishes on your "Tour de USA"!
Love you, T.
Hey Trish & Greg! I'm following every "pedal" of your journey! I'm happy to hear that both of you still talking! ha ha ha So maybe if you pedal instill of talking you might go faster up the hills? HA HA HA There, I just wanted to make you laugh a little. Love you guys and we are praying for your safe return, so keep going! Hasta la vista babies!
Greg & Trish - Andy & Hailey brought little Isaac to my mom's 83rd birthday party Saturday and of course he was the hit of the party! Mark & Annie came too and we had a wonderful time visiting with everyone. Isaac loves to sleep on Mark. I commented that it might be like sleeping on a waterbed and got the hairy eyeball with finger response from Mark. Ed & I have caught up with your blog both online and on the map. You are in some gorgeous territory right now. We are enjoying your exploits! - Cheryl
Hi T & G!
I'm enjoying reading about your ride! I'm so proud of both of you, and I really admire what you are doing. I think of you everyday and pray for a safe and enjoyable journey for you. We do miss you! I received Brendan's confirmation pictures the other day (the ones I didn't order). Can't wait to share them with you when you return. God speed (especially up those hills!)

HI guys,
We are are thinking of you in the heat as our Pacific NW temps are in the 90's if you can believe it!! I know you are creating your own draft with your speedy down-hill runs to help cool you down. You both must look tanned and slimmed and so conditioned by now. You are fast approaching the half way mark of your trip. We are SO very proud of you. We will be thinking of you and missing having you with us as we boat and play in Chelan next week. (Don says he'll daily toast a beer to you :) Please check your mail at Rapid City, we sent you a package.
Love you,
Pam and Don
